Welcome to Hanoi - Vietnam’s capital. Today, we will pick you up at Noi Bai International airport and transfer you to your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter (city center) for check-in (check-in time at 2:00 PM). 

The Old Quarter in Hanoi is an intriguing neighborhood, home to a mix of Vietnamese architecture, green spaces, ancient shops and fresh-as-it-gets street food. The 36 guild streets of the Old Quarter were named for 36 trades or craft that set up in this area, and created high-quality goods to supply the royals in the Thang Long Citadel, just steps away. Today only a few streets sell the same products they once did. Some streets, however, have kept the traditions of the past; and these can be great fun to explore on foot or on a cyclo, and with your camera in hand.

The Vespa tour is a great way to see parts of the city's nightlife that most tourists don't get the chance to see or even hear of. Taking you to the most popular street stalls, hidden alleyways and, of course, places where the locals love to hang out with their friends.

Your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel at 6:00PM, then drive you to a popular street coffee where you will experience the hustle and bustle of this city with popular lemon-tea drinks and sunflower seeds.

Continuing into one of the most busy and beautiful places in town where young people come to meet friends.

Jump up to the back of Vespa, we will move on to enjoying the most famous dishes in Hanoi: Bun Cha and spring rolls. Our next stop is the Opera house in the Old Quarter. Here, we will offer you the chance to take beautiful pictures and selfies, as well as to learn something about the history of the area.

Then we will get on the back of the Vespa again and move on to the next place for food. We will ride past the beautiful ceramic road and Chuong Duong Bridge to have Banh Xeo "Vietnamese pancake "  and " Nem Lui " , a special kind of spring rolls.

The exciting rides in organized but chaotic traffic will take you to a local restaurant with authentic food and then to small alleys to try a different versions of Pho, " Pho Chien Phong, Chien trung, Pho Cuon " and many different  Vietnamese dishes that are world famous and the opportunity to try all typical of the food here.

Then taking the ride around the big lake is a romantic sight of Hanoi that most travelers rarely have the chance to see, which you will take your breath with a big "wow" factor. This will surely make you say "I’m happy that I did this trip!" Continuing with the tour, ride Vespa around Hanoi city and drive past Ho Chi Minh mausoleum stop to take pictures of the night time.

Hanoi, capital of Vietnam since the 11th century, dazzles visitors with its unique blend of oriental lifestyle, French colonial architecture, tree-lined boulevards and peaceful lakes. Still retaining a charming air from its colonial days, visitors are often impressed with the quietness and subtle beauty of Hanoi.

Today, after breakfast, meet your private tour guide & driver at your hotel for a full day city tour to explore Hanoi. The first stop is Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum. Enjoy the architectural and historical aspects of 'Uncle Ho's' final resting-place. Just next door is Ho Chi Minh's 'house on stilts', his home from 1954 till 1969 the wooden ethnic minority style house is surrounded by quiet and peaceful gardens. Lying to one side of the Mausoleum is the one Pillar Pagoda,founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049 the structure has become an important symbol for the people of Hanoi.

Then, drive through the French quarter to The Temple Of Literature. Vietnam’s first university constructed in 1070, its gardens and well-preserved architecture offers a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam's past. Have lunch at a local Vietnamese restaurant.

Then visit Hoa Lo Prison Museum which was originally used by the French colonists in Indochina for political prisoners, and later by North Vietnam for U.S. prisoners of war during the Vietnam War. During this later period, it was known to American POWs as the "Hanoi Hilton”.

Take a walking tour through the " Hanoi Train Village " along the rail tracks -  this railway is about 20 km around Hanoi. It goes over many streets and inner urban areas. In some parts of the railway village, the distance between the resident houses and the track is only 3-5m. Therefore, the railway suddenly turns into a public living space, street, gathering, cooking or working place.

Day 3: Hanoi - Halong Bay - Stay overnight on cruise (Meals included: Breakfast/lunch/dinner)

For many, the seascape of Ha Long Bay is synonymous with Vietnam. Cruises sail emerald green waters among thousands of rugged islands and islets, stopping at spectacular caves through which visitors can wander, viewing impressive, centuries-old formations. Ha Long Bay's mystical beauty has made it a bucket list attraction within the country, but it's still possible to find secluded corners to call your own. 

In the morning, have breakfast & check-out from the hotel and get pick-up by the cruise bus at 8:00am 

11:30-12:00 Upon arrival at Tuan Chau International Cruise Port, you will enjoy a warm welcome from our cruise staff in the waiting lounge and complete the check-in procedure.

12:30 Upon boarding Le Journey Premium Cruise, our crew welcome you with a refreshing drink and cold towel before checking into your cabin. The vessel leaves Tuan Chau Marina, taking you on an exciting journey to discover the beauty of Ha Long Bay. Along the way, you can enjoy the view of some of the most beautiful spots in Ha Long and admire the grandeur of the Bay with thousands of limestone islands while the vessel heads to Surprising Cave.

14:45 Explore the Surprising Cave – the most beautiful cave in Halong Bay.

After that, we will take you to visit Titop Island – swimming, climbing up to the Top of the Island – and take the best view of HaLong Bay.

17:30-18:00 Back on board, you will participate in a Sunset Party & Cooking Class while the vessel cruises toward the shore. You can enjoy relaxing moments while sipping a cup of traditional Vietnamese tea or coffee on the sundeck amid wonderful scenery and beautiful sunset. Ha Long Bay is calm during the day, but when the sun goes down, the Bay becomes even more tranquil and peaceful.

You will be instructed to make delicious Fresh Spring rolls by our chef and then enjoy the rolls made on your own.

07:45-09:00 Kayaking to explore Luon Cave. If you are lucky, you can catch great photos of mischievous monkeys jigging up and down around the cliffs

10:00 Enjoy an early lunch at the restaurant on the 2nd floor and settle the bills if any while the cruise is sailing back to the mainland. 

After a final early brunch and a last farewell from the crew at 11:30, you will board the transfer boat and head back to the wharf where you will be met again by your driver. The city seems to be forgotten by time, and retains much of its traditional heritage since the golden days: this place is clearly an intersection of Eastern-Western culture, the crystallization of Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese and European countries manifested in cuisine, architecture, and local traditions.

Today, meet your tour guide for a biking day tour to explore the rural area of Hoi An, See Hoi An as the locals do. Relax as we bring you through the breathtaking countryside and waterways while stopping to see families & their crafts.

Biking into the rice paddy rich countryside and local villages, stopping to meet a local family producing local rice crackers. Crossing a bridge over the Thu Bon River takes us through more quiet villages and then into beautiful farmlands, where we take a break for a local specialty dish while surrounded by seasonal vegetables in the picturesque fields of corn, eggplants, sweet potatoes, cucumbers, and herbs in Tra Que village. Join a cooking class at a local family restaurant for lunch, you will have a chance to cook Vietnamese traditional dishes.

As the sun starts to go down, we continue biking through the rice paddies, passing duck farms, visit a local mat weaving family and then ride along by the prawn farms and over the river to visit a charming family home where they produce the local & potent favorite brew – rice wine.
