Day 1 Hanoi - drive to Cat Ba island (biggest island in Halong Bay)

Today, your private tour guide and car will pick you up at your hotel at 8:00 AM for the trip about 4 hours traveling by car and boat to Cat Ba island. On arrival, we will start to do the hiking in Cat Ba National Park to get to Ngu Lam peak (the highest peak in Cat Ba), from here you can overview the amazing landscape of the island. Have lunch at local restaurant. Continuing to visit the hospital cave before transferring by private speed boat to your floating homestay in Cat Ba island. The rest of the day is doing kayaking to explore Halong Bay. Overnight in your floating homestay.

Day 2 Biking in Viet Hai village - Kayaking and swimming

Today, after breakfast, we move to Viet Hai village, one of the very pristine villages on Cat Ba island for biking to explore the village and daily life of the local farmers. After lunch in the village, go back to the homestay for kayaking and swimming.  Overnight in your floating homestay

Day 3 Cat Ba - drive back to Hanoi

Today, after breakfast, enjoy the rest of your time in Cat Ba homestay (kayaking and swimming) before returning back to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi

Day 4 Hanoi to Ba Be lake

Today, our trip should depart Hanoi at 7.30 AM, heading straight to center North of Vietnam. After about 2 hour drive, we will have coffee-break at Cho Lu (Lu Market), then start to enter the mountainous region where beautiful dramatic natural landscape alternates with ethnic villages located at the foot of the mountains. The drive will be slow-paced and peaceful, we will have a chance to stop to take photos, enjoy the views…

Upon arrival, we enjoy the well-established home-stay in Pac Ngoi, with the Tay people. Around 1 PM, we will spend a couple of hours to enjoy slow biking along village lanes to explore neighborhoods. Overnight in Ba Be.

Day 5 Ba Be lake discovery

After breakfast, take a 3 boat trip with spectacular view of Ba Be lake and surrounding mountains. Take a short trek to the Dau Dang Waterfall before visiting some villages of the Tay and Dzao minority people, enjoying a picnic lunch along the way. Have dinner and stay overnight in the village of Tay tribe.

Day 6 Ba Be lake - drive back to Hanoi

Today, we will wake up a bit early for breakfast and check out the homestay. Then take 4 hours drive back to Hanoi for lunch. The rest of the day is free at your leisure. End of our services ! See you next trip !
